May 13th, 2026 Meeting

Junior rockhounds started their meeting as a planning session for the year to come. They got to choose their interests for future activities and to discuss field trips. The younger siblings played outside while the more serious kids planned.

The general meeting had a special presentation by Rick Hicks, past President, about fluorescent rocks. It was illuminating.

Then we had our brag table where people could share what they’ve found or ask for IDs.

There was a lot of interest in the silent auction table, with some really good specimens to compete for and the newest addition – a mystery box.

Hope we see you at our next meeting! Second Wednesday of each month, June 10!
