Do you have a child in your life with a fascination for rocks, minerals, and Earth sciences?

Give them the gift of hanging out with other rock-loving kids at the SLO Gem and Mineral Club’s Junior Rockhound program! The program is part of AFMS so kids learn, earn patches, and even receive rockhounding gear.

Little siblings are welcome too, and are called Pebble Pups. Parents take turns keeping the littles busy so the older siblings get to learn and make lifelong friends who share their passion.

Come join us the second Wednesday of each month at 6:15 pm at the Senior Center in SLO, right before the general meeting at 7 pm.
