As members of the Central Coast community we are bound together by our common interests and strive to serve our community through a variety of means. One of our projects has been to promote earth Sciences education through a club funded scholarship.
We also hold a gem, mineral, and jewelry show each year in order to better serve our community by providing a venue to view and purchase the mineralogical wonders of the Earth and ask questions of knowledgeable people.
The club has a small library of relevant material available for members to check out. In addition, the club has tools and lapidary equipment for members' use. Some of the smaller items are stored at the meeting location. Larger items such as the faceting machine, tumblers and rock saw are stored by club members and require advance notice to be made available.
